Leny brings more than seven years of experience with Environment Southland, beginning part-time while studying Environmental Management at SIT before moving into full-time roles as a Consent Coordinator and later a Consent Officer.

Her time at Council gave her a strong, practical understanding of Southland’s Regional Plans, the RMA framework, and the challenges farmers and consent holders face when navigating compliance. She focuses on making regulatory requirements clear, achievable, and straightforward.

Leny is passionate about providing accurate, approachable guidance and supporting clients through the consent process from start to finish.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking good food and spending time with great company.
